The article outlines
the importance of the problem that has been conditioned by deepening of
contradiction between growing requirements to vocational school leaders' mediaculture, medialiteracy,
mediacompetence and insufficient level of their information and analytical training. The aim of this
research is to determine the principles of development of information
and analytical competence of the vocational school managing staff. Their
implementation will give an opportunity to develop a system of complete information and analytical training of leaders to enable
their relevant activity as an integral part of their mediaculture,
medialiteracy, mediacompetence. Teachers' information and analytical competence development by means
of mediafacilities can be viewed as a perspective for further research.
